This sweet card is the last creation from Megan Gourlay, my guest designer. Megan has used a stamp from the Chalk Talk set and combined it with 'All is calm' paper and 'Old Olive' cardstock. Thanks to Megan for all her beautiful creations!

Boy Party Favours
Why not throw a birthday party into the silly season just to add to the fun? LOL I made some bookmarks to add to loot bags for my eldest son's party.
The awesome thing about the 'tag topper' punches is that you can make the 'tags' as long as the length of your cardstock. So volia some bookmarks!
The stamp set Freaky Friends is only available until Jan 5th so don't delay if you would like to own the set yourself.
I have used Tangerine Tango, Bermuda Bay and Early Espresso inks.
The rotary alphabet stamp is handy for personalising your work Alphabet Stamp

Guest Designer- Megan Gourlay
A very warm welcome to my first guest designer Megan Gourlay. I have always admired Megan's beautiful creations. She has an amazing eye for detail and produces some exquisite work.
Look at this beauty of a card! I love how Megan has punched a circle, layered a snowflake and layered again on top of that. Her use of the the 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon is very clever. Faux stitching around the edge of the paper creates a nice detail.
(SU products: card is whisper white and Old Olive, silver metal button, All is Calm paper, Doily, 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon in Bermuda Bay, snowflake stamp and die (retired)).
In this second creation, Megan has used a stamp from the 'Seasonally Scattered' set and teamed it with a Chalk talk stamp. Very creative I thought. The paper is typeset (LOVE this range). I love the wrapped around linen thread too. Also used is a silver metal button and the beautiful wings embosslits.
Thank you so much Megan. There is more to come from Megan very soon. Have a lovely weekend everyone. xo

Gift envelopes
Want the perfect envelope for that custom card you made? How about a nice holder for gift cards this Christmas? Consider the envelope punch board...it's awesome.... http://www3.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=133774
I have a bought a few gift cards this Christmas so needed a few homes for them! I made a bunch of envelopes in varying sizes using 'All is Calm' specialty designer paper. I love how all the measurements are on the board. Trust me, it's a piece of cake.
First up uses 'All is Calm' washi tape and the tree punch (quite like the naked look)- and my fav linen thread.
A metal button with a nest of thread...
Again a simple washi tape background. Meet santa's little owlie helper.
I have simply used the Owl Builder punch, made him a belt (using Gold Glitz Dazzling Details for the buckle) and a hat using real red. (NB: the white is non SU enamel)
And another little helper. LOVING the 3mm taffeta ribbon- below in Real Red. The quality is just stunning.
It's not too late to do some Christmas crafting. Will be ordering next week so just let me know: sally.robertson@email.com
Have an awesome weekend!!!

Festival of Tree and Endless Wishes
Here's the full reveal of my tags that I taught in my first Stampin' Up workshop last week.
The stamp sets we used are in the holiday catalogue:
Festival of Trees and Endless Wishes.
We used the scalloped Tag Topper Punch lots. http://www3.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=133324
Using the Tree Punch and for the background the stars mask (a bargain at $5.95 for stars and hearts or dots and stripes).
Couldn't resist a touch of 'Rich Razzleberry'
Thanks to the lovely ladies who were my guinea pigs (grin).
Thanks for looking and please contact me to order or if you have any queries.
Happy crafting...

An oldie but a goody!
Have had a bright flowery card on my mind for a while. I put my silhouette cameo to work to make this sweet little flower pot. The pot and leaves could easily be cut by hand and punches used for the flowers.
The metal buttons are gorgeous and add that extra touch. Will be good for mixed media canvases and the like.....
Gold metallic baker's twine has been tied around the pot and a 'Teeny Tiny Sentiment' used inside the card.
Thanks for looking. xo

Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry
For our school gala we were asked to donate items for the colour raffles- you get allocated a colour according to which class your child is in. So orange and purple were our colour themes this time round. So amongst other things I whipped up a few little items with my Stampin' Up! supplies.
First up- a post it note holder. These make quite cool little gifts. Simply take a piece of cardstock that measures 8×3.5″ and score it at 2, 2 3/8, 5 1/2 and 5 7/8 inches (9x20cm and score at 5,6,14 and 15cm) and then decorate as you like! Information CASED from this blog here
. I used half a Velcro dot to secure mine.
Next up Mr Owlie makes another appearance on a kraft grid journal. I have used gold metallic baker's twine, the owl and bird builder punches, kraft sticker, alphabet rotary stamp and cardstock. (Please note the washi is not SU).
Finally a notebook covered with typeset paper and the butterflies I so love in Rich Razzleberry. I have used pearls and linen thread also.
Local peeps: The Enner Glynn Gala is next Sunday 2nd Nov 10-2:00pm. Would love to see you there.

Flash with Flashback
I love the distressed appearance of the Flashback papers. I have teamed these up with 'Crumb Cake' and 'Whisper White' Cardstock.
The embellies are from the Playground Project Life Accessory Pack. Don't discount these packs if you are not a project lifer (page 189 of the catalogue). They are jam packed with cute little bits and pieces which are neat on scrapbook layouts and cards too. The alphas I have used are from this pack too.
My new fav tool is the alphabet rotary stamp that I used to write 'jersey'. I think this will need to stay permanently in my tote. Great for cards and tags too.
Happy weekend everyone. I'm off to attend a workshop today using authentic Japanese papers. Can't wait. xo

A 'parliament' of owls
Come and meet my new little friends made with the Stampin' Up Owl buider punch (page 223 of the catalogue).
First up is Sebastian...
"What's a group of owls called?". "A hoot" hubby replies. So I google it and it turns out that a group of owls is called a parliament. You learn something new every day!
Below we have Alan...(named by my eldest son)
I must admit I felt a little crazy taking a photo shoot of my new little feathered friends outside at dusk.
And wearing a jacket in Old Olive we have 'Olive' (very original)
Still a few without names.... Any suggestions?
All the cardstock and paper is Stampin' Up. The paper is Typeset (Alan owl) and Flashback (Sebastian Owl). Linen thread.

All is Calm
School holidays are in full swing so I won't be doing much crafting for the next week and a half, but here's one I prepared earlier {giggle}
Most of the products used can be found in the holiday catalogue.
I have embellished a Petite Café Gift bag using:
- All is Calm Washi tape
- Tree Punch and All is Calm Paper
The inks are Lost Lagoon and Cherry Cobbler and the stamps are 'Endless Wishes'
To make the washi banner I folded strips of washi over linen thread, trimmed them to the same length and cut them to make the pennants. These banners work well on cards and scrapbook layouts too.
Other SU products used: Basics Kraft Stickers (tag)

All the products you see are Stampin' Up. I have used: A notecard, paper is typeset, inks are lost lagoon, early espresso and crumb cake, antique brad, stamps are freaky friends, choose happiness, teeny tiny sentiments, linen thread and the washi is all is calm.
