Cozy Critters

A special card for a special lady!  I just loved making this card.  I find it quite cool using 'Christmas' sets for other occasions!

The stars of the show are in a Hostess set 'Cozy Critters', which is from the 2016 Holiday Catalogue.  They're such cute little creatures and I have added a hint of sparkle to their scarves using 'Dazzling Diamonds' glitter (adhered with fine tipped glue).

The greenery comes from the 'Christmas Pines' set and is already a firm favourite!  Around the box I have used the Woodland EF- an absolute must have!  I inked the folder in Soft Sky before putting it through the Big Shot.

If you are in need of a 'Card in a Box' template, you can find one here  It folds flat for giving/ sending.  Love!  The DSP is from a 6x6" pack called Serene Scenery, which has some lovely designs.

I am adoring the new layering Framelits that SU carries.  They are totally awesome.  The ovals are featured in this project and the sentiment is from 'Endless Birthday Wishes'.

If you would like to host a workshop in the Nelson/ Tasman/ Marlborough region and earn your own 'Cozy Critters' set or products of your choice please don't hesitate to contact me sally.robertson@email.com

Thanks for stopping by! x

Three wee projects

I was lucky enough to have a girly weekend away in Hamner Springs earlier this month.  Friends, shopping, crafting, hot pools, yummy food...  what more could a girl want!

I wanted to share with you the sweet gifts from a couple of the ladies.

The first (created by Brenda) includes a gorgeous tag made using the scalloped tag topper punch and stamped using the Hostess Set 'Love You Lots'.  The lace, linen thread, gold clip and cellophane bag are all Stampin' Up! products.

Elaine made these sweet little boxes using In-Color DSP, which housed three choccies.  Delightful.  Handmade gifts are the best!

This year my friends asked me if I would like to teach a workshop.  One of the projects I taught was this diamond fold Foxy card.  Thanks Adriana Koch for the inspiration.  I followed this tutorial for the fancy fold.  I used Stampin' Up!'s 'A Little Foxy Suite'.

Until next time!  xx Sal

Tiny Treats and don't miss a bargain!

Good morning.  It's the last week of the weekly 'Special Offers', which are listed below
The 'Clear Tiny Treat Boxes' are in the deals this week.  Here they are with in-color ribbon and DSP and filled with Mint Imperials.  Super cute!

The Stampin' Up! online store's Clearance Rack has recently been updated.  Lots of bargains to be had.  If you are in NZ, ensure that NZ is the country selected (top right of the web page).

Have a lovely weekend.  Blessings. x

Watercolor Wishes Kit

I simply adore the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit.  I love that it's an all-inclusive kit with stamps, inks and all.  The sentiment stamps are just gorgeous.  The kit makes 20 cards.

It's so nice to have a pre prepared kit to pick up and run with.  A sweet gift for someone who doesn't have a lot of crafting supplies too.

Weekly Deals and Shooting Star

I must get the 'Shooting Star' bundle out again.  It's so much fun!

The first share is a simple card I demonstrated at my catalogue launch a few months back.  The star spins as it travels across the page.

How is it made?  By making a 'washer and stampin' dimensional sandwich' on the back of the moving image (in this case the shooting star).

Secondly a CASE from the catalogue.  A sweet little flying bee!

Thanks for looking!

Two exciting things to report.  One is that there are weekly deals happening between now and 21st September.  See below for what's on offer until Sep 7th.  I adore the enamel shapes and will be completing my collection this week.

The holiday catalogue is live and there are some stunning products in there.  Check it out online here:  Holiday Catalogue NZ
