Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry

For our school gala we were asked to donate items for the colour raffles- you get allocated a colour according to which class your child is in.  So orange and purple were our colour themes this time round.  So amongst other things I whipped up a few little items with my Stampin' Up! supplies.

First up- a post it note holder.  These make quite cool little gifts.  Simply take a piece of cardstock that measures 8×3.5″ and score it at 2, 2 3/8, 5 1/2 and 5 7/8 inches (9x20cm and score at 5,6,14 and 15cm) and then decorate as you like!  Information CASED  from this blog here
I used half a Velcro dot to secure mine.

Next up Mr Owlie makes another appearance on a kraft grid journal.  I have used gold metallic baker's twine, the owl and bird builder punches, kraft sticker, alphabet rotary stamp and cardstock. (Please note the washi is not SU).

Finally a notebook covered with typeset paper and the butterflies I so love in Rich Razzleberry.  I have used pearls and linen thread also.

Local peeps:  The Enner Glynn Gala is next Sunday 2nd Nov 10-2:00pm.  Would love to see you there.

Flash with Flashback

I love the distressed appearance of the Flashback papers.  I have teamed these up with 'Crumb Cake' and 'Whisper White' Cardstock.

The embellies are from the Playground Project Life Accessory Pack.  Don't discount these packs if you are not a project lifer (page 189 of the catalogue).  They are jam packed with cute little bits and pieces which are neat on scrapbook layouts and cards too.  The alphas I have used are from this pack too.

My new fav tool is the alphabet rotary stamp that I used to write 'jersey'.  I think this will need to stay permanently in my tote.  Great for cards and tags too.

Happy weekend everyone.  I'm off to attend a workshop today using authentic Japanese papers.  Can't wait. xo

A 'parliament' of owls

Come and meet my new little friends made with the Stampin' Up Owl buider punch (page 223 of the catalogue).

First up is Sebastian...

"What's a group of owls called?".  "A hoot" hubby replies.  So I google it and it turns out that a group of owls is called a parliament.  You learn something new every day!

Below we have Alan...(named by my eldest son)

I must admit I felt a little crazy taking a photo shoot of my new little feathered friends outside at dusk.

And wearing a jacket in Old Olive we have 'Olive' (very original)

Still a few without names.... Any suggestions?

All the cardstock and paper is Stampin' Up.  The paper is Typeset (Alan owl) and Flashback (Sebastian Owl).  Linen thread.

All is Calm

School holidays are in full swing so I won't be doing much crafting for the next week and a half, but here's one I prepared earlier {giggle}

Most of the products used can be found in the holiday catalogue.

I have embellished a Petite Café Gift bag using:
  • All is Calm Washi tape
  • Tree Punch and All is Calm Paper

The inks are Lost Lagoon and Cherry Cobbler and the stamps are 'Endless Wishes'

To make the washi banner I folded strips of washi over linen thread, trimmed them to the same length and cut them to make the pennants.  These banners work well on cards and scrapbook layouts too.

Other SU products used:  Basics Kraft Stickers (tag)
