Before it's too late..

Painted Blooms DSP has been one of my most used paper packs.  I have used it in in the next two cards below to CASE a neat design I found on Pinterest.

The cotton twine that features in these cards is also only available till June 2nd.  It's soft and sweet and comes in soft sky, white and wild wasabi.

There's something about the dotted paper that reminds me of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'.

Here's a link to the inspiration behind these cards.

Last but not least, the card below contains a sentiment from the 'Hip Hooray Kit'.  It's half price at the moment and you get three stamps and a basic gray stampin' spot (mini stamp pad) plus heaps more.  Bargain!  Hip Hooray Kit

Hope you're enjoying the long weekend.  Sal.

Sneak Peeks

Hello and welcome to my little Stampin' Up! Blog.

It's an exciting time of the year for the S U community as we await the release of the new 2015-2016. catalogue.  This means on the 2nd June yummy new products can be ordered. Please contact me sally.robertson@email.com if you would like to buy the idea book/catalogue ($5).

Save the date 17th June for my first ever catalogue launch.  More details soon...

Without further ado, come and take a look at some new colours and products.

First up the new in-colours.  From the left:  Mini Macaron, Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Green, and Delightful Dijon.  I find that I am gravitating to the first three in my crafting thus far.

Now to introduce you to a really neat and versatile set:  Sprinkles of life.  The cool thing about this set is that for every set purchased, $3.50 (NZD) will be donated to Ronald Macdonald House Charities.

The set can create trees, cupcakes, ice creams, clouds, to name a few.  It has a bird, flower, apple, leaves, sprinkles.....  It  also coordinates with the new tree builder punch.  Come and see.

The tree tag has the new in-colours cucumber green, watermelon wonder and tip top taupe.

And now for the cupcakes.  The base is stamped and cut out.  The cake is punched using the tree builder.

This is my fav of the three.  Yes the banner has been punched with the new banner punch.  More on that another day.

I hope you have enjoyed my wee sneak peek today and yes there will be more to come in the next few days as we approach the big day.

Hugs.  Sally :)

Sheltering Tree Love

Isn't it funny when you umm and aghh about a set, then you see something stunning created with it and done.  You're sold!  Well that was the case for me with the 'Sheltering Tree' set when I saw the gorgeous notecard set that Jacque Williams had created for the Nelson Extravaganza earlier this year.

One thing I love about this set is that you can simply use ink and the stamps to create a stunning single layer card.

I have used gold encore ink which is half price at the moment in the retiring specials.

Lastly I was inspired by this post and incorporated a sentiment from Adventure Awaits (this set is available until June 2nd 2015).

'From the Garden' Mini Book

I confess, I am a lover of mini books.  I was over the moon when my friend Nadia gave me this little stunner for my birthday.

Come and see...

Crumb Cake and Whisper White are such an elegant combination.  'From the Garden' stamp set is featured here.  This will not be available after June 2nd 2015.

Four Feathers are so lovely aren't they.  They will also be missed.

I am so thankful for my beautiful handmade gift and will treasure it for sure.

Project Life: Playground

Have you checked out Stampin' Up's Project Life range?  I have used the 'Playground' Accessory Pack in this page.  Guess what?  It's half price in the retiring specials if you want to grab yourself a bargain.

I have also used the Adventure Bound stack (love this) to make the cards.  This coupled with the bright colours mirror the photos, don't you think?

Love the dinky little bike clips and I'm a sucker for anything acetate, to get that extra layer without the bulk.  Can you see the acrylic stars too?

Happy crafting!

Faves Farewell

Hello and welcome!  This is the first blog hop I've been involved in.  Woohooo!

The month of May is birthday month in my house, so I reached for some fantastic Stampin' Up! products to make one of my son's party bags for him and his friends.  The products I have used that are in the Retiring Specials are:

Birthday Surprise Stamp Set
Polka Dot Tag a Bag Gift Bags
Tag a Bag Accessory Kit
Artisan Label Punch

The retiring products are only available while stocks last.

Come and see.....

The stamp set is a new one for me.  I was lucky enough to win it from Susan Wong.  Thanks again Susan! :)  It is certainly a set that I overlooked in the catalogue.

The aqua coloured ink is a Color Box chalk ink from the Occasions catalogue.

I have made the tags from Chalk Board and have used the chalk writer pen.  They really look like mini blackboards IRL.

Now hop on over to Kathryn's blog and be inspired by her creations!
