Sale-a-Bration Last Days

My design team member Jane has been stamping up a storm for us.

Check out this clever masculine design she made from a 'you-tube' tutorial.  The neat card uses the envelope punch board (card 4" x 5").  The 'Going Places' DSP makes a great jacket doesn't it?

The sentiment comes from 'Perfect Pairings' (another awesome SAB set).  Only a few more days of Sale-a-Bration left.  Don't miss out!

This is what Jane said about card number two:

"I wanted to use the vellum and came up with the idea of creating a window- loved that the vellum and pp matched beautifully. I actually cut the card and mounted it onto a pool party base to add dimension and added the gold and silver thread to a strip of adhesive.  Stamped the leaves from the 'What I  love' stamp set in Pistashio Pudding and added the metal button with the last of my thread. Stamped the sentiment onto the vellum with choc chip  inside.  I die cut 3 shapes for the rest of the sentiment".

Thanks again Jane.  You're a true inspiration!

Another beauty from Jane

Another stunning creation from Jane Hambly.  I just love this card.  It's a clever design and is so beautiful.

Jane has used the Sale-a-Bration set 'What I Love'.  Spend $110 NZD and this lovely set can be yours for free.

The neutral DSP teamed with the project life emboss resist card (also a Sale-a-Bration product) looks awesome.

Thanks again Jane.  Your creations are truly wonderful!

Sale-a-Bration ends March 31st.  If you live in NZ and don't have a demonstrator I would love to assist you.  Please contact me sally.robertson@email.com

Tide Sea Card

Stealing a moment this morning to share my project that I taught at the Nelson Extravaganza last Saturday.  Voila!

One of my aims this year is to make more masculine cards. The sea themed sets are in the main catalogue- 'By the Tide' and 'From Land to Sea'.   The 'Wink of Stella' on the sea horses and jellyfish gave them a lovely subtle sparkle.

The guests chose their own sentiments from 'Crazy About You' and had the option of stamping on the front of the card and/or inside.

Thanks to all who taught, helped and came to the extravaganza.  It's a big day but a very fun one at that.

Save the dates for the next two extravaganzas in Nelson this year:  July 23rd and November 19th.

xo Sally.

Please welcome Jane Hambly

Please welcome JANE HAMBLY to my design team.  She will be sharing a few beautiful creations over the next few weeks.

"Hi my name is Jane Hambly I live in West  Auckland close to beautiful rugged Piha , I'm married with a teenage son.

I started scrap booking back in 2006 and have since progressed into card making .
Sally very kindly asked me to design a few cards with a some of the gorgeous products Stampin' Up! have to offer.  How could I refuse a chance to play with these amazing products?  Thank you Sally I  truly enjoyed making these cards."

First up Jane has used the SAB set "What I Love" to make this stunning card.  The 'Venetian Crochet Trim' looks gorgeous here too.

Next up is another of Jane's gorgeous creations- a bendy card.  Super cute!  Here she showcases some of the lovely DSP 'Sweet Li'l Things'.  Check out those dinky little turtles she has fussy cut from the patterned paper.  Too cute.

Thanks heaps Jane.  I'm heads down this week busy creating for our school gala.  So many ideas and so little time.  Sound familiar?  :)  Sally.

Last month of Sale-a-Bration

Don't miss out on a free sale-a-bration set (or two).  Today's cards show you some of what's available.

Firstly, a card inspired by a design by Kathryn Mangelsdorf.  The stamps are 'Flowering Fields' and the sweet DSP Wildflowers (both SAB).  This set is proving to be a popular one.  Note the gorgeous sentiment which comes from 'Rose Wonder'.

I'm enjoying the 'What I love' set (as pictured below).  So easy to use and it works well with lots of other sets also.  I wasn't 100% happy with my 'crushed curry' flower centres so after I took the photo I added some white perfect accents.  Much better! (you'll just have to trust me on this one LOL).

It's hard to believe it's March already.  Our Nelson extravaganza is next Sat (12th March).  Can't wait!  If you would like to come along and make five beautiful projects please contact me to book in sally.robertson@email.com

Have a lovely day. xoSal
