Cookie Cutter Baby

Last month I taught this card using the Cookie Cutter bundle.

After embossing the cardstock ('Sparkle embossing folder)' I inked under the left corner by rubbing the cardstock directly over the inkpad and then curled it around using a kebab stick.

Mica flakes have been used around the edge of the circle and as accents on the wee eskimo.  Pom-pom trim adds interest!

I gave the ladies the option of a gingerbread man too- using sheer Mint ribbon and Mint scalloped circle, with Crumb Cake ink and mat (in place of the Basic Gray).  I loved this version that some of the ladies made! (**yes should have taken a pic** LOL).

Thanks to the lovely women who came along to my Stamp-a-Stack today.  Photos of the cards will be posted within the next few weeks.

Save the Date-  NOV 19th for the Nelson Extravganza.  Please contact me to book a place:  sally.robertson@email.com

Have a good weekend. x

Sweet Gingerbread Man

Today's share is a sweet and simple card that I made using the 'Cookie Cutter' bundle for a local team swap here in Nelson.  It's a super punch and stamp set bundle that I am enjoying a lot!

The heart 'buttons' are punched from Real Red Glimmer paper.  The glitter detail is 'Dazzling Diamonds' glitter, adhered using the 'Fine Tipped glue'.

More to come with this bundle in future weeks...

The Embossing Folder is also from the 2016 Holiday Catalogue.  Here I have used a sponge dauber to add colour and highlight the branches.

Next Friday (28/10/16) I am hosting a Stamp-a-Stack in Nelson.  I have one or two places left.  Please contact me if you would like to create a stack of 6 cards.  sally.robertson@email.com

Have a super weekend!  Sally.

Mini Merry Mice Shakers

Oh how I love these sweet little Merry Mice!  I used them to make three shaker frames which will become Christmas tags or tree decorations.

I have fussy cut and coloured the mice using Stampin' Up! inks and aquapainters.  To die cut the scalloped frame and backing I used the Layering Circle Framelits.  I am reaching for my layering dies a lot!

To fill the shakers I used the new Mica Flakes and Fancy Frost Sequins (Holiday Catalogue).  The see through plastic is die cut 'window sheet'.

The quality and weight of Stampin' Up!'s Glimmer Paper is just great.  Pictured is Blushing Bride and Dazzling Diamond.  To raise the frame up to create the shaker I used 'Foam Adhesive Strips' which forms circles well!
