Beautiful Pine Card by Diane

I was thrilled to receive this stunning card by my friend and team member Diane.

She has used the 'Pretty Pine' Thinlit Dies with silver foil for an elegant vintage look.  The large Hardwood stamp combines well with 'Gorgeous Grunge' for the background.

Thanks for looking.  Three sleeps till the big day!

Teacher gifts

I am so pleased that I had some of the 'White Gift Boxes' on hand this holiday season.  They feature in the holiday catalogue (page 7) and are food safe.

The boxes I feature here are as easy as 1-2-3!

Step one:  Emboss the whole flat box throught the Big Shot using the EF of your choice (featured is 'Lovely Lace').  Then assemble the box- easy as all the scoring is done.

Step two:  Tie ribbon around the box as shown.  The Real Red stitched ribbon is RETIRING (3/1/17 )and is currently discounted.  The Watermelon ribbon (right) is in the main catty.

Step three:  Punch and stamp a tag!

Then of course fill the box with your gift.  The plastic sleeve means that the ribbon and embellishments stay in tact as it slides off and on, enabling easy access for you and the recipient.

The boxes are a nice size!  I fit about seven pieces of num nums in each....

Today's jobs include icing my son's Birthday cake and buying some fresh strawberries and raspberries to decorate it.  Finishing his Birthday card is also on the list.  I was clever enough to have a baby right before Christmas!  Such fun.  Blessings x

Christmas Magic

Here's a fun card CASED from Beatrice Salazar Redd on the Facebook group Stampin' Cafe.  It's a fun interactive card, where the train slides along the track.  A fun card to give a family with little people!

Christmas Magic is such a neat stamp set and it is retiring Jan 3rd.  With the exception of the stripes and splatters, all the other images you see are from this set.

To make the train track I used a 'Sliding Star' die and attached dimensionals and washers to the back of the train to enable it to move along the 'tracks'.  The splatters and stripes are from 'Gorgeous Grunge'- a MUST HAVE!

Hope you're keeping on top of it all at the moment.  Such a busy time!  Blessings. x
