Say goodbye!

It's that time of year again when we say good bye to some fabulous Stampin' Up! products.  This means the products that will not be in our next annual catalogue, which goes live June 1st.

Today I am showing you samples using THREE of my favourite sets that are on the retiring list.

Firstly Swallowtail.  Don't miss out on this beauty.  Inventory is low already.

Next up is SUMMER SILHOUETTES.  At the time of writing this post, this beautiful set is now only available in wood mount.  Inventory is low.

I sure will miss Typeset DSP (banner above).  It is a versatile with a vintage look and I have used it heaps.

Finally last but not least the sweet set 'An Open Heart' should not be overlooked.

Here I have used summer silhouette flowers with 'An Open Heart' sentiment and bird.

My advice is that if you want anything in the sale, don't delay!  I will be ordering frequently during the sale.  Not sure if something is retiring?  Just ask, I am here to help!

:)  Blessings. x

Sweet Seahorses

Following the extravaganza in Nelson I wanted to continue my sea theme for the thank you cards I gave my customers with their orders

My extravaganza project featured a jellyfish (From Land to Sea).  Here I have used a trio of seahorses (By the Tide).  The seahorse panel is 'Shimmery White cardstock' that has been painted with SU's aqua painters.

The 'Crumb Cake' cardstock has been stamped with 'Timeless Textures' and the sentiment is a 'Greeting Thinlet'.

Off to the demonstrator event 'On Stage' tomorrow morning.  Will be getting up at ridiculous-o'clock to catch a plane.  Looking forward to the experience as a first timer.

Hugs.  Sally.

Spotlight on Swallowtail

Hello.  Thanks again to Jane Hambly for creating this amazing card using 'Swallowtail' in 'Tempting Turquoise'.  I love the sponged background and the flowers make a sweet detail.

The next cards I made to sell at our school gala a few weeks back.  I combined it with the stamp sets 'Butterfly Basics' and 'Petite Petals'.  I just love 'Swallowtail' for it's size, detail and uniqueness.

Have an awesome weekend!  Sally.

Balloon Builders Bendi

A special card for a special friend.  This also became one of the projects I taught in class last week.  I followed an online tutorial to make the bones of the card- the SU design is my own.  You can find the tutorial with dimensions here

  • I used metallic thread for the balloon strings also.
  • The card fits into an envelope made with the punch board (DSP cut to 11 x 11").
  • Wink of Stella clear was used on the balloons, gold on the 'Celebrate'.
  • Vintage Faceted button with an iced rhinestone.
  • The dies are 'Deco Labels' and 'Large Numbers'.
  • The 'awesome' sentiment comes from 'Grateful Bunch'.
  • DSP is my all time fave 'Typeset'
  • I used 'Bermuda Bay' for the balloons.  One of the ladies opted for 'Melon Mambo' which also looked stunning.
Blessings. Sal xo
