Last of my Onstage samples: Sweet Sugarplum and Emerald Envy

We're heading into the last days of the 2015-2016 catalogue.  If there's anything you would like to order please get in touch.  You don't want to miss out on that set you've been eyeing up for ages!

I really like 'Sweet Sugarplum'.  My first sample features Swirly Bird and the new In-colour DSP.  I wouldn't be without my Triple Banner Punch.

Mint Macaron and Sweet Sugarplum look stunning together.  New Mini Striped ribbon features in the sample below also.

A simple Layout on Kraft cardstock with a hint of Emerald Envy.  The background stamps are from Timeless Textures and Gorgeous Grunge.  These two sets are among my most used.

Finally some sheltering braches using Botanical Blooms dies in Emerald Envy cardstock.  Timeless Texture to add interest to the leaves.  The sweet little bird is from 'Swirly Bird' which can be ordered from June 1st.  Yah!

If you are local to the Nelson/ Tasman region you are welcome to come to my catalogue release on June 12th.  More info out soon!

Many Blessings.  Sal x

Going Global is Going

What a fab suite 'Going Global' is and it's retiring at the end of the month.  Here are a couple of projects showcasing the suite.

First up a cute easel card with a drawer made by Jane Hambly (DT member).  The DSP 'Going Places' has neat little prints, perfect for cards and mini books.

I love this card Jane made and can't wait to try making one myself.

Secondly a step card that I taught in class last week:

This features the following items that are retiring:

Going Global Stamp set
World Travel EF
Going Places Cardstock and DSP
Banner punch (a steal reduced to $15 NZD)
Lost Lagoon ink (reduced to $9.80 NZD)
Silver Metal Buttons
Hello Honey Striped Ribbon

Did you notice the clear embellishment on the top of the banner?  That's a perfect white accent with the white peeled off!

Thanks for visiting today.  If you live in NZ and don't have a demonstrator I would love to hear from you sally.robertson@email.com  Please enquire about my customer loyalty rewards programme.  x Sally.

Onstage samples 2015-17 In Colours - Part Two

To make this step card featuring 'Cucumber Crush' I used the new upcoming set 'Swirly Bird' to stamp the kite, trees and flowers.  The sentiment is from 'Balloon Builders' and fits perfectly don't you think?

I am really into making step cards at the moment.  I was originally inspired by my friend and DT member Jane Hambly with the idea.  Here is a link to a tutorial with the measurements that I used for the body of this card Step Card Tutorial.

A 6x8 Christmas Layout in 'Mint Macaron'.  I used 'Rich Razzleberry' to coordinate with my son's top, for a non traditional Christmas Colour scheme.  'Watercolour Wash' is a must have stamp for a quick and easy arty background for cards and scrapbook pages.

'Watermelon Wonder' for an arty card made with spritzing ink, distressing edges, rolling and a bit of tearing.  'Swirly Bird' for the flowers and Picture Perfect for the sentiment.

My 'Tip Top Taupe' sample is simple but it's one of my favs.  I like the soft touches of the vellum and organza ribbon.  The bird has been embossed in white and sits on a nest of linen thread.

Last of all a 'Swirly Bird' nest in 'Delightful Dijon'.  The dies used are 'Rose Wonder' and sentiments from 'Helping Me Grow'.

Hope your weekend is going well.  We have some shopping to do today.  Kiddy presents and sports gear.  There's always something! x

On Stage Samples in Peekaboo Peach

Here's the new 2016-18 In Colour Peekaboo Peach!

A sweet little 3x3 boat card (Scribbly Bird) for a new bubbalicious.

Next up is a layout of our youngest having a whale of a time in water!  As a mum of 3 boys I have learnt that water and sand play goes a long way.  In addition to food, food, food!  LOL

I have used peekaboo Peach DSP in the background.  Scribbly Bird (swirls and splatters) for the background.

The acetate and journaling spot is from the Project Life 'Memories in the Making' which is actually retiring at the end of May.

I spelt 'Joy' from the Christmas Thinlet 'Jolly'.

Adios!  Thanks for looking.  x

On Stage Display Samples 2015-2017 In Colours

Good morning.  I hope you enjoy the samples I created for On Stage NZ that I am sharing with you today.

I can well and truly say that I have made friends with 'Delightful Dijon'.  I have teamed it with soft suede DSP to make this little mini tag book.  Credit to Steve Hussey for this gorgeous photo of our youngest Harry.

See the little detail in the corner of the tags?  That is made using the 'Curvy Corner Trio Punch' and sadly it is retiring so if you would like to own it yourself please order it before the end of May!

The stamps in this sample are from 'Picture Perfect' which will be returning in the new 2016-17 Catalogue.

Next a kiddy card featuring Cucumber Crush.  I love popping the child's age on their birthday cards- educational and special!

Using the Swirly Bird set I have deviated from my normal style for this sample.  Mint Macaron is the featured colour.  Spot the lovely new ribbon!

More of the 5/8" Mini Striped Ribbon, this time in Watermelon Wonder.

I think I fell more in love with Tip Top Taupe when I created the On Stage samples.  It is such a nice brown and goes with everything.  The new Swirly Bird set has stamps to make a kite too!  The sentiment comes from 'Balloon Builder'.  Super glad that the 1/8" Stitched Ribbon is staying!

Many blessings! x

On Stage Dapper Denim

Over the next few weeks I am showing you the samples I made as a display stamper for On Stage in Auckland New Zealand.  Today I introduce you to Dapper Denim

A 'Mini Treat Bag' with the brand new DSP and Ruched ribbon.  Yum!  The photo doesn't do the ribbon justice.  It is GORGEOUS IRL.

The little boat comes from the new 'Swirly Bird' set.

Secondly a more elegant package.  The Denim is just stunning with gold don't you think?  I made the box with the Simply Scored Tool.  More of that yummy Ruched Ribbon.  Yes it comes in all the new In Colours!

Thanks for looking and have a lovely week! :)

On Stage 2016. Hello Flirty Flamingo

I was thrilled to be selected to be an On Stage display stamper for Stampin' Up! in April 2016.  What a ride it was!  It was a pleasure to be working alongside the two other creative kiwi display stampers Delys Cram and Emily Campbell

The two samples that I have for you today showcase the new fun in colour 'Flirty Flamingo'.  A gate fold card first up that features a new stamp set 'Swirly Bird'.

I have created the coloured background inside the butterfly die cut using the 'Watercolour Wash' stamp with a hint of 'Wink of Stella' in gold.  Notice the gorgeous new 1 cm Ruched ribbon.  So yummy!

Keep popping back as I will continue to showcase my samples over the next few weeks as we welcome in the new annual catalogue which goes live June 1st.
